What the “Verified menu” badge means
Some restaurants use Easy Lite for their own digital menus, on their website and on tablets at the table. When a restaurant reviews its allergen info with us, its menu gets a Verified menu badge in NutNope, with the date it was reviewed.
- It means the restaurant looked at and confirmed its menu info on that date.
- It doesn't mean a dish is free of an allergen. Recipes, suppliers and kitchens change.
- Verified or not: confirm with your server.

FAQ
Will NutNope tell me what my kid can eat?
No. NutNope flags dishes that may contain your kid's allergens so you know what to ask. It never gives a dish the all-clear. The kitchen and your server have the final word.
Where do the flags come from?
From the menu text and typical recipes for each dish. For restaurants with a Verified menu badge, also from the restaurant's own reviewed info. Menus often leave out sauces, oils and cross-contact, which is why every result ends with "Confirm with your server."
Is it really free for allergy families?
Yes. Families managing a food allergy use it free, with unlimited kid profiles. Everyone else will pay $1.99/month.
Can I text a menu today?
Not yet. Texting is coming soon. Join the waitlist and we'll let you know. Until then, the sample-menu demo shows how flags will look.
What's a Menu Scout credit?
Upload a menu we don't have yet and you get a $1.99 credit that works only inside Easy Lite apps. It's never cash and never refundable.
What about calories?
Any calorie number you see is an estimate for a typical recipe and portion. The restaurant's real dish can differ a lot.
What do you do with my info?
We use it to run NutNope and to contact you about it. We never sell your family's allergy info. See the draft privacy notice.
